Anthony, Jr.'s heart sank as Dr. Saraf asked his son: “Didn't you tell your Mommy and Daddy that you can't see?” Apparently, little Anthony's eyesight was in dire need of corrective lenses. In fact, his initial pair of glasses are under-powered to allow him to gradually acclimate himself to the glasses — In two or three months his prescription will need to be replaced with a stronger one.

Anthony's condition is the result of moderate myopia (near-sightedness). Dr. Saraf has assured the family that this was not the result of little Anthony's computer use or sitting too close to the TV. And though Anthony's Mom & Dad were a bit worried about how little Anthony would about feel wearing glasses, their fears proved to be unwarranted.

Unlike years ago, glasses are “cool” these days and Anthony's new look has been well received by family, friends and classmates alike!
