So began the letter sent home from school with Anthony indicating his nomination for the New Jersey Reading Association's Enthusiastic Reader Award. An “Enthusiastic Reader” is one who has developed a love of reading, exhibits an enthusiasm for reading and sharing books, and one who reads independently and voluntarily.

Of all students nominated state-wide, a total of nine will be selected at random and presented with an award at an official ceremony later this year.
