Here at DeLucia.org we've always had a core family following. In an effort to serve more, we continue to strive to make our site more accessible and useful to De Lucia family and friend's from around the 'Net. And with each passing day we're getting a bit more attention.

What we didn't expect, but are pleasantly surprised to find, is the additional attention being paid to DeLucia.org from various award presenting bodies. And when they see fit to present DeLucia.org with an award, we are happy to accept and proudly display them here for your review.

Presented in September, 2004. The Internet Beacon Award is presented to quality sites with excellent positive content and resources of interest to others. This award is presented by The Internet Beacon, which commented on our "clean-looking, easy to use site."

Presented in August, 2004. The Superior Resource Site Community Award is presented in recognition of site development and invaluable content. This award is presented by The Miller Communications Group, which commented on out "Very unique presentation!"

Presented in August, 2004. The Personal Site Award is presented to sites that are dedicated to personal family environment, family events, reunions, and family fun. The award is also for those who develop a web site for personal reasons and is presented to sites that represent the highest level of creativity and concept. This award is presented by The Miller Communications Group, which commented on out "Very unique presentation!"

Presented in July, 2002. The Dragon's Choice Award is presented to non-commercial web sites that "display originality, creativity, and some of the personality of their designers." This award is presented by The Lair of the Amethyst Dragon, which commented that our "hard work and originality have caught the attention of The Amethyst Dragon who considered (our) web site to be worthy of inclusion in his treasure hoard."

Presented in June, 2002. The DandieStar TopInfo Award (A.S. Rated 4.5) is presented by DandieOnline to winning sites exhibiting a strong, main theme. Content must be well written and presented and must be balanced against a good use of graphics. DeLucia.org received this award "in honor of (our) really great job" and their evaluators commented that "It was a great pleasure for us being allowed to visit and evaluate your (site)."

Presented in June, 2002. The Orchid Award for Page Excellence is presented by The Orchid Lady in recognition of general web excellence. Sites must "have something to say" and be well organized, pleasing to the eye and exhibit good navigation. In their review of DeLucia.org they recognized the "hard work in the creation of such an excellent (site)."

Presented in June, 2002. The TPC Award (A.S. Rated 3.5) is presented by the Texas Precancel Club in recognition of general excellence.

Presented in June, 2002. The Seasons of Change Award is presented exclusively to personal web sites. This award, presented in limited quantities, recognizes the hard work and dedication required to create and maintain a personal web site and is presented to those sites which “make the web a better place.”

Presented in May, 2002. The Famous Ozz Award (A.S. Rated 4.5) is presented by Paul and Gitta Gallagher from the Land Down Under. Following their review of DeLucia.org they indicated they were “very much impressed with the quality of (our) site.” Also, they felt this was “one of the best family sites (they) have seen and a great contribution to the internet community.”

Presented in May, 2002. The GNAE Silver Award (A.S. Rated 4.5) is presented by the GNAE Awards Programme as “a token of our high regard for the effort, workmanship, dedication, clarity, utilization of available technology and the overall aesthetics of (our) web site.” They found DeLucia.org was “so much more (than) just another family site.” They especially appreciated our resource page and thought we did an really good job of incorporating our YaBB board into our site.

Presented in May, 2002. Michael's Award of Excellence (A.S. Rated 3.0) is presented by Michael Starz of Germany “to promote private, personal homepages which represent a high standard.” In their review they expressed that DeLucia.org was “an interesting site with much information” and they felt that “it's really a great idea to create such an information and communication center for the family.”

Presented in May, 2002. The Award of Excellence - Silver (A.S. Rated 3.5) is presented by Krista's Korner. This award is presented exclusively to personal web sites, with the intent “to acknowledge great personal web sites and give recognition to sites who shine above the rest.”

Presented in May, 2002. The Illumination Award is presented by Kimberly's Kreations and is awarded “only to web sites that show extraordinary accomplishment in design, content and style. In essence they are the sites that 'illuminate' the World Wide Web.” This award is “meant to honor the recipients for their time and dedication to... the art of producing a well thought out, beautiful and stylish (site).”

Presented in May, 2002. The Best of the Web Award is presented by Neovizion in recognition of sites that demonstrate “an overall balance of creative design, layout, clear graphics, page download, user friendly interface, browser compatibility, overall professional appearance and originality.”

Presented in May, 2002. The Personal Site Achievement Award is presented by Miller Communications Group to sites which “represent the highest level of creativity and concept and... honour the webmaster's code of ethics.” In their review of DeLucia.org, they applauded our site's “ease of navigation, obvious hard work, and entertaining content.”

Presented in May, 2002. The This Site Floats Award (A.S. Rated 3.0) is presented by the All Volunteer Yacht Club in order to “help make the Internet a fun and healthy place for people of all ages to visit.” In their review of DeLucia.org, they found our “work on navigation and page layout... leaves with (our) visitors the perception that they are visiting a quality site.”

Presented in April, 2002. The Sapphire Crystal Award (A.S. Rated 3.0) is presented by Crystal Dragon Awards which recognizes that “Web design is not an easy undertaking, and usually a thankless job.” In their review of DeLucia.org, they found our “layout and images were excellent.”

Presented in April, 2002. The WDS Choice Award for Web Excellence is presented to sites “that are attractive, well designed and easy to navigate.” In their review of DeLucia.org they felt we did “a very nice job with (our) graphics and layout.” They also found our “content is informative, entertaining and presented well.” This award is presented monthly by Web Design Studios.

Presented in April, 2002. The Webworksite Cool Site Award (A.S. Rated 3.0) is presented “to promote creative freedom and help set standards of excellence in web site design.” In reviewing DeLucia.org, the awards panel was “impressed with the quality of work and skill level shown” in our site.

Presented in April, 2002. The Webkin Award (A.S. Rated 2.5) is presented to sites for a variety of factors, including “easy navigation and eye-appeal.” We are excited to have been presented with their Gold Award — their highest honor.

Presented in April, 2002. The Community Web Site Excellence Award is presented to sites whose content is up to date and relevant. Recipient sites have been reviewed and are deemed to be easy to navigate and suitable for any aged audience. Above all the site is recognized as a leader in its field. This award is presented and owned by arundel.org.uk.

Presented in January, 2002. The Elite Web Award (A.S. Rated 4.0)is presented based on site content, design and ease of navigation. Judges look for original, informative and accurate content, site consistency and visual appeal.

This is our first award, presented in January, 2002. The Golden Web Award is presented by the International Association of Web Masters and Designers and “is presented to those sites whose web design, originality and content have achieved levels of excellence deserving of recognition.”
